Split Rock

A large naturally split rock in northwestern Saudi Arabia, traditionally associated with the biblical story of Moses bringing water from a rock.

A striking monolith divided by a prominent central fissure in northwestern Saudi Arabia. Local tradition and some religious researchers associate it with the rock described in the biblical account of Moses bringing water from the rock, but this identification has not been archaeologically confirmed.
