The ruins of a major medieval Islamic trading city situated south of AlUla.
Al-Mabiyat (historic Qurh) was a flourishing economic and trade center during the early Islamic and Abbasid periods. Archaeological excavations have uncovered city walls, ancient houses, mosques, and extensive pottery shards documenting thriving medieval commerce.
