Al Wahbah Viewpoint

A breathtaking vantage point overlooking the massive volcanic crater of Wahba (Hagat Al Maqta).

Al Wahbah Crater is a massive volcanic crater (maar) measuring roughly 2 to 3 kilometers wide and 250 meters deep, located on the edge of the Hafer Kishb basalt plateau east of Taif. The rim viewpoint offers dramatic views of the striking white sodium phosphate salt flat at the center of the crater floor.
