Located about 60 km west of Tabuk, Al-Shaq is a remarkable geological landmark known for its dramatic canyon. According to the Saudi Geological Survey, the Al-Shaq Valley is a major geological crack formed by movements associated with the Red Sea. The valley’s sides rise to about 450 meters, creating a distinctive and impressive landscape.
