Jethro's Tombs

Ancient Nabataean rock-cut tombs at Al-Badʿ, traditionally associated with Jethro (Shuʿayb).

Located near Al-Badʿ in the Tabuk region, the so-called Jethro's Tombs, or Maghā'ir Shuʿayb, are ancient rock-cut Nabataean tombs dating to around the 1st century CE. Local tradition associates the site with the Prophet Shuʿayb (Jethro), but there is no direct archaeological evidence connecting the tombs to him.
