Jawatha Mosque

One of the oldest historic mosques in Islam, located in the Al-Ahsa oasis.

awatha Mosque (Al-Jawatha) dates back to the early Islamic era (7th century CE) and is historically recognized as the second mosque where Friday congregational prayers were held outside of Medina. Though partially rebuilt over centuries, its historic foundations remain a major Islamic heritage site.
