Diriyah

A historic cultural destination and the birthplace of the First Saudi State, centered around the UNESCO-listed At-Turaif district.

Diriyah is the historic birthplace of the Saudi state, established along Wadi Hanifah and becoming the capital of the First Saudi State in 1727. Today, its heritage is centered around At-Turaif, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its traditional Najdi mudbrick architecture and historic landmarks.
